Inconsiderate parents of school age children.
Part I

1. At the intersection of 235th Court and Hillside Avenue.
Driver starts to back up with pedestrians immediately behind him.
2. Driver in light colored sedan passes school bus with its red lights flashing, directly in front of PS 18.
3. Driver makes a U-turn near school, right at the busy intersection of 235th and Hillside.
4. Parent lets her child out into traffic. One-way street by PS 33.
5. Another child being let out into the traffic. PS 33.
6. That's right. Stop right at the beginning of the block and block every other parent.
7. Park in the crosswalk, and ignore the junior crossing guards standing right there. 
8.  Totally prevent everyone from passing. Only your child counts, right?

Even the kid (face blurred) looked awfully embarrassed.
9. It's bad enough that a car is already blocking the crosswalk, here's another parent doing something even worse: block other cars AND what's left of the available room for pedestrians. 
10. When parents park their cars and wander into the schoolyard to chat with other parents, they inhibit access to everyone else. The car behind this one was parked for over fifteen minutes.
